ACRLI has been awarded a new project entitled “Middle East Regional
Bankruptcy Reform Initiative” funded by the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs,
Office of the Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI)
The project aims is to advocate for improved bankruptcy laws and mechanisms
in Egypt and Jordan. In each country, the project creates a reform platform on
bankruptcy laws based on in-depth legal analyses and input from a
multi-stakeholder network. Using the reform platform, ACRLI and its partners
assist the network to build and implement an effective advocacy campaign to
improve insolvency resolution, thus enabling private sector-led economic growth.
