| Passing of Former Prime Minister of Lebanon, Dr. Salim El-Hoss | | The Arab Center for the Development of the Rule of Law and Integrity deeply
grieves the passing of Dr. Salim El-Hoss, a valued member of our Board of
Trustees and our first President. The late former Lebanese Prime Minister
was distinguished by his exemplary service in various public roles,
representing the highest principles of integrity, respect for the law,
justice, equality, transparency, accountability, and the peaceful transfer
of power. Throughout his career, he remained committed to avoiding personal
benefit, favoritism, or personal gain at the expense of public funds or the
public interest.
In 2018, the Center honored Dr. El-Hoss as the "Personality of the Year for
the Rule of Law and Good Governance," recognizing his exceptional dedication
to these principles during his distinguished career in both the public and
private sectors.
We extend our deepest condolences to all who knew and worked with Dr.
El-Hoss, and we pray for his eternal peace.
