Projects
Project on “Promoting the role of the Constitutional Judiciary in Building the State of Right in Lebanon” (June - October 2017)
The project’s main goal is to support democratic reform by deepening and promoting the role of constitutional court as guardian of the constitution in preserving the rule of law. The project is supported by a grant from Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung. Its overall objective is to promote the constitutional judiciary’s role in the democratization process as a guarantee of citizens’ rights and the constitutionality of Laws.
The project’s activities will promote the adoption of the draft law of the constitutional court and raise the stakeholders’ awareness through focus groups that foster dialogue between them and a national workshop that launch the discussion results of the focus groups.
