The Arab Center for the Development of the Rule of Law and Intgerity organized under the patronage of HE Minister of Justice Professor Ibrahim Najjar, represented by General Director of the Ministry of Justice Judge Omar Natour a National Workshop on "Commercial Law as a Tool to Promote Economic Development in Lebanon", on the 26th and 27th of January 2009, in Jeffinor Hotel (Beirut - Hamra).
Deputy Yassin Jaber participated in the workshop, with Professor Ghada Safar representating the Minister of Economy Mohammad Safadi, Deputy Ghassan Mkhayber, Mr. Nader Caspard representing the Bar Association, in addition to a crowd of specialists, lawyers, academics, experts and representatives of economic organizations.
The workshop comes under the scope of the Commercial Law Strengthening Project in Middle East and North Africa which is carried out by ACRLI in the United Arab Emirates, Tunisia, Lebanon, Yemen, with the support of the Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) and in cooperation with a wide range of regional and international institutions concerned.
