Abu-Ghazaleh Chairs ACRLI’s Board of Trustees
BEIRUT – HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global) accepted the request of the Arab Center for the Development of the Rule of Law and Integrity (ACRLI) in Lebanon to chair its Board of Trustees, succeeding former prime minister of Jordan HE Mr. Ahmad Obeidat. On behalf of ACRLI, founder and general supervisor, Dr. Waseem Harb, praised Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s efforts and contributions in promoting performance of public and private institutions, as well as supporting the role of activists, individuals and institutions, in protecting human rights and enhancing pillars of the rule of law in the Arab countries.
In addition, ACRLI entrusted Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh to form a new Board of Trustees and to nominate new board members from prominent Arab personalities, thinkers, and leaders.
ACRLI Board of Trustees includes former prime minister of Lebanon, HE Dr. Salim El Hoss, Samir Atallah, Joseph Tarbi, Waseem Harb, Ahmad Obeidat, Ahmad Refaat, Naguib Sawiris, Abdul Hussein Shaban, Habib Al Mulla, Dr. Sheikha Al-Misnad and others.
The Arab Center for the Development of the Rule of Law and Integrity (ACRLI) is an Arab regional, non-government and non-profit organization, founded in 2003 by a group of judges, specialists in rule of law, lawyers and academics from various Arab countries. Its mission is to enhance the rule of law and good governance in the Middle East and North Africa.
